ASA Scholarships for summerscapes 2009 and application forms for 2010

In total the Alberta Society of Artists awarded 14 fully paid scholarships to attend one of two weeks of intensive art training for teenagers during August 2009. From rural Aberta, five high school students aged between fifteen years and eighteen years were selected from all parts of Alberta. Three students from Edmonton and three from Calgary were awarded scholarships.. With a donation to sponsor three students from Athabasca and area schools, the ASA awarded scholarships to three additional students from Athabasca, Alberta.

The ASA is sponsoring scholarships for summerscapes 2010. The PDF Downloadable form can be opened with Adobe 5 or greater, the Word form can be completed with Word 97 or later. If you are unable to open this form. Contact cwcarson@artist-society.ab.ca and I can email you a form, fax a form or send you a form in the mail. the deadline is May 14th, 2010.

These scholarships are intended for all high school art students in Alberta that are between 15 and 17 years of age by August 01st, 2010.
