The ASA is programming 6 two exhibitions at Walterdale
Playhouse during the theater season since Fall 2011. The week two
person or group exhibitions are featured in the lobby area of this
historic Edmonton theatre near Old Strathcona Farmers' Market and
Whyte Avenue. Walterdale Playhouse produces a special Artists'
Night complete with the featured play and art show. The
gallery is open to the public during all performances as well as
the two Saturdays during the run of the play.
Walterdale
Playhouse, at 52 years old, is one of Western Canada's
oldest amateur theatre groups. With the exception of a paid
part-time Administrator, Walterdale Playhouse is operated entirely
by volunteers with a love of theatre, members of any age and
background have the unique opportunity to participate in all
aspects of live theatre. We do it for love, not money.
