ASA Scholarships for summerscapes at Red Deer
College
Scholarship report 2010
In total the Alberta Society of Artists awarded 14 fully paid
scholarships to attend one of two weeks of intensive art
training for teenagers during August 2010. From rural Aberta, five
high school students aged between fifteen years and eighteen years
were selected from all parts of Alberta. Three students from
Edmonton and three from Calgary were awarded
scholarships. With a donation to sponsor three students from
Athabasca and area schools, the ASA awarded scholarships to three
additional students from Athabasca, Alberta.
Scholarship report 2011
The ASA is sponsored 14 scholarships for summerscapes and
teenglass 2011. Unfortunately, teenglass was cancelled, yet all
scholarship students were placed in another class of their
choice. The students are from all parts of Alberta and our
regional selection process makes sure that all have an equal
chance. 3 further students from Athabasca are awarded
additional summerscapes scholarships thanks to the generous
donation of an ASA member.
Summer Scholarships 2013
The ASA is a proud supporter of young teens hoping to expand
their education and experience in the art community.
Summerscapes at Red Deer College is one of the many
programs ASA provides scholarship funding for students wishing to
attend. This year we had some incredible applications and
we will be announcing the winners within the next few weeks!
