The Alberta Society of Artists is a registered charity whose
mission is to have an active membership of professional visual
artists that will strive for excellence, and shall through
exhibition, education and communication, increase public awareness
and appreciation of the visual arts in Alberta.
Full Member
Members receive ASA event and meeting news, our email newsletter
with notices of upcoming exhibitions, exhibition opportunities and
general information, an opportunity to apply for planned ASA
exhibitions throughout Alberta, to attend lectures and workshops,
to network and to participate on the ASA Website. As a
full member, you have the right to place the letters ASA after
your name.
There is a jury selection process for new members that is based
primarily on the strength of the work submitted. Prospective
applicants must be artists who exhibit a high level of competence
and professionalism, and who have an interest in contributing to
the Society. All fine arts media are considered. Your membership
also entitles you to discounts on all ASA workshops, attend all
Branch Meetings and vote at the Branch level and the ASA AGM
meeting. Membership renewal is in January of every year and the
annual fee for full members is $80.00
Deadline for Application: Post-marked by March 1 of every

Supporting Member
Become a supporting member anytime and receive ASA event and
meeting news, our email newsletter with notices of upcoming
exhibitions, exhibition opportunities and general information
and an opportunity to apply for all open call ASA exhibitions
throughout Alberta. Your membership benefits also include an
opportunity to network with other artists and to attend lectures
and workshops. Your membership entitles you to discounts on all ASA
workshops.
You can attend all Branch Meetings and vote at the Branch level
and the ASA AGM meeting. There is no jury and you may join anytime
for the remainder of the year at $30.00. Membership renewal is in
January of every year. Download the
